The General Overseer of  the Christian Bible Church (CBC) in Ganta, Nimba County has called on graduates of the  Evening Star Advanced Nurse Aides Training Program to make themselves available at all time on grounds that the nation depends on them to improve the country’s health sector.

According to Rev. Alexander Z. Freeman, the behavior of some health workers mainly nurses, are causing some patients not to have faith in the country’s health sector.

He said nurses in some of the hospitals and clinics across the country are most times seeing witnessing movies and on Facebook while patients are in need of their services, something which he claimed, is rarely seen in other African countries.

The Christian Bible Church overseer urged the graduates to work hard and be pride of themselves, stating that, the nation is depending on them to improve the health sector.

He urged the graduates to be humble and make themselves available at all times especially when patients are in need of their services.

Rev. Freeman disclosed that the country is in a critical time where the involvement of everyone including health workers cannot be overemphasized.

He explained that most people are now entering the medical field not because they have passion for the job but because they think doing it will bring some level of high economic benefits to them and their families.

‘’Your patients are your goods, you need to provide care and love for them,” Rev. Freeman averred.

Also, the Training Coordinator for the Advanced Nurse Aides Training Program, Alexander N. Saye said the school is under the Ganta United Methodist Hospital and its goal is to train those having interest in becoming professional nurse aides who will serve the society.

He said the school was founded in January 2014 and this is the fifth graduation exercise of the institution
